The Helicopters The helicopters were jointly manufactured by Kawasaki Heavy Industries Co., Ltd of Japan, and Messerscmitt Boelkow-Blohm Gmbh (MBB) of Germany. The twin-turbine engines were manufactured by Textron Lycoming of the United States. The Kawasaki BK-117 helicopters have high performance and safety standards. They are able to fly in all weather conditions and over densely populated areas. The main feature of the BK-117 is that it is a category A machine with two engines. In the case of engine failure or complications, the BK-117 would able to function with just on one engine, flying and land safety.

The Insurance Policy All helicopter are insured in accordance to international aviation standards. Si-Chang Flying Sevice operates under an insurance policy by the Dhipaya Insurance Public Co.,Ltd. This insurance policy includes full coverange for the helicopter, is passengers and their party liability of US $4.5 Million per accident
