PHRA PATHOM CHEDI

area around Nakhon Pathom has been settled for millennia,
and the site of Phra Pathom Chedi has been a religious
area for centuries. During his reign, King Rama IV visited
the area and ordered the original crumbling chedi to be
built over with the existing huge golden spire. |
